Summer Blooms ...

     Summer is at its peak in chennai... But yet, for trees its' blooming time &  its' a glorious sight to see these fresh and vibrant flowers in the neighbourhood...

Golden Shower Tree or Konna Poo { Cassia Fistula } ...
Queen's flower {Lagerstroemia speciosa}
Flowers of some Tabebuia ....

White and Pink Bougainvilleas ....
Pink Flowered Rain Tree { Albizia Saman } ....

    i really can't believe that this pictures are taken in chennai,they are so beautiful could give any foreign location a run for its money!!!!

    Yes the flowers look so beautiful and fresh, despite the heat.
    I think we Bangaloreans are too pampered, even if it is a little hot we make faces, for we always want our Bangalore to have a pleasant weather all the time, and our plants too have caught the disease from us, for it has to only become just a little hot,they will have such withered look, the whole garden will look like a desert, and no amount of watering will yield result.( water is precious too) It would take the rain to bring back the color and beauty in the plants.
    I think you people should be grateful to have so much greenery, it is indeed a gift of God.

    thank you for stopping by Emreen. That's a very nice name. Beautiful clicks. Any chance what the first the tree in the first click is known as. I want to plant that one at our home in the front yard for a visual treat for the eyes, but no idea what to ask for in the nursery.
